New Year Musings January 3, 2010

Our ski season is well underway, with sufficient snow for good track packing and setting. I hope everyone has been out at least once! You will all have noticed our new brochure and logo redesign this year, and perhaps spotted someone you know in the beautiful photographs. We were pleased to work with Chris Jordison of Coventry Design, who brought his creative flair to the project.

Are you a shutterbug? If so, bring your camera along on the trails and trips, and capture our club events in pixels! We will want to update the brochure photos next year, and perhaps one or more of your pictures may be selected. The best photos will be shot in the highest resolution & in bright light, will be colourful and will tell a story or convey a skiing experience. You can email your best shots to president@reginaskiclub.ca and webmaster@reginaskiclub.ca

The Club Executive is now complete. Dave Safnuk has assumed the Treasurer role, with Edna Brewster assisting. Giovanna Pirro is able to continue as secretary for the next while. Our club is able to offer the trips, lessons and programs that it does through the hard work of many volunteers. We still need folks who would be interested in teaching adult lessons. Certification is obtainable within province through courses offered by Cansi. If you are curious, check their website at www.cansi.ca for course availability.
